Facebook and Yahoo: peace deal
The “patent war” between Facebook and Yahoo is really over. All Things Digital reported, citing anonymous sources, an agreement on strategic cooperation of these companies.

Publishing has “shown” information that the deal approved by the leadership of these companies, leads to Facebook and Yahoo partnerships in online advertising sales and some of key controversial patents will be licensed together.
The deal makes no mention of any payments in favor of Yahoo from Facebook. Although there is a strong possibility that this issue will be stipulated later as for not mentioned patents in the deal.
The companies haven't yet published such an official information that would confirm the news.
Remember, on the 12th of March this year, Yahoo applied to the California court accuseing Facebook of illegal use of several patents and technologies relating to advertising and social networking. In response Zuckerberg put up a counter-claim of insolvency claims, and moreover, prohibit Yahoo to disturb the court making such statements in the future.
